Mediocre Avalanche

Unless the Avalanche finishes the regular season with a pointless three-game road trip and everything else breaks "wrong" in the final week, Colorado will be in the playoffs.... The best-case scenario is that the Avs finish at least sixth in the conference, and then win a series or (maybe) two, have Theodore look good, and make it reasonable to believe that this could be only a one-season blip of middle-of-the-pack mediocrity.
