Marc Potvin Passes

Adirondack Frostbite head coach Marc Potvin died Friday morning in Kalamazoo, Mich., according to a release from the Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League. Further details were unavailable. An autopsy is planned. The Wings were scheduled to host the Frostbite Friday night, but the game was postponed. Potvin was in his third season coaching Adirondack, and previously coached Springfield of the American Hockey League. He played in the NHL with Detroit, Los Angeles, Hartford and Boston.
