from Paul Gackle of the Mercury News,
TSN analyst Darren Dreger lit a fire on Twitter Wednesday when he suggested that Vlasic should be added to the NHL’s embellishment list for drawing a questionable high-sticking penalty that led to the game-winning goal in the Sharks 5-4 win over the Nashville Predators Tuesday night....
Though the video shows no evidence that Arvidsson’s stick struck Vlasic in any way, the Sharks defenseman argued the opposite with defiance after practice Thursday.
“I don’t know why we’re even talking about this — he hit me in the helmet,” Vlasic said. “Because Dreger and Mike Fisher decide to say something they’re right? It’s funny, when you’re sitting far away, you think you know the game.
“I don’t have to defend myself. It hit the visor.”
