Mainstream Media Recognizes Bloggers

The technology is not intimidating, even if you don't have a 12-year-old to serve as technical consultant. It may be too early for a full outbreak of Cup craziness, but Buffalo Sabres fans have got a touch of the fever. They get cranky if their daily newspaper or sports-talk radio station diverts any of their resources away from hockey and toward such secondary concerns as the Super Bowl, the Winter Olympics or even the war in Iraq. There is no cure for hockey fever, but the Internet can provide two forms of temporary relief: podcasts and blogs.
