I thought it deserved at least 2.
But at least he’s on the offenders list now. Which means the next time he chops someone’s head off with a machete he’ll get at least 2 games.

i agree… needed to be more.  1 game does nothing to prevent it from happening again.  lucic has the opportunity to do it again for a 3 gamer, and yet again for a 5-7 gamer. 

if he hits him with 5 games out of the gate, you get a reformed player. 

I hated what the league did to Cooke last year.  20 games (7 of them playoffs).  But damn… it appears to have worked.  There should be a mimimum of 3 game going forward.

The fact that Lucic is only now going on the repeat offenders list is the real crime. If Shanny would have given him a game for the run on Miller he would have gotten 3 games here.  Things are improving, but it used to be you had to be a repeat offender to be suspended, therefore there was never ever a reason to suspend someone in the first place.

Considering he had a hearing not long ago with Shanny, I am surprised he didn’t get more. The guy has a hearing and then not long after goes out and delivers another hit that leads to a hearing? How much of an expert do you have to be to manage that?
