Los Angeles Kings Activate Jonathan Quick And Jordan Nolan

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have activated goaltender Jonathan Quick and forward Jordan Nolan from injured reserve, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Quick, the 6-1, 218-pound native of Milford, Conn. suffered a lower-body injury in the Kings first game of the season, Oct. 12 at San Jose. He has missed 59 games due to the injury. Last season he became the first Kings goaltender to win at least 40 games in franchise history, breaking his own record.

Selected by the Kings in the third-round (72nd overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Quick has appeared in 476 career NHL games, posting a 252-162-51 record, a .916 SV%, 2.27 GAA and 42 shutouts. He holds the franchise record in every major goaltending category. His 42 shutouts are the most among American-born goaltenders in NHL history.

Nolan, the 6-3, 219-pound native of Garden River, First Nations, Ontario suffered an injury on Feb. 1 vs. COL and has missed nine games. He has appeared in 41 games this season, posting eight points (4-4=8) and 44 penalty minutes.

Selected by the Kings in the seventh-round (186th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Nolan has appeared in 287 career NHL games, posting 42 points (20-22=42) and 264 penalty minutes.
