from David Pollak of the Mercury News,
Sharks forward Logan Couture will undergo a procedure to repair a hand injury Wednesday is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks, a team source disclosed late Monday night.
The news casts doubt on Couture's ability to play in the Sochi Olympics. The Canadian team will be revealed Tuesday, and Couture was considered a top candidate for the team.
However, he still could be selected, as the rules allow teams to name players, then replace them if injuries prove to be a problem.
