from Eric Stephens of the OC Register,
Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau would only simply say "maybe" when it came to whether he read Drew Doughty's comments about the Kings being a better team but it was painfully obvious that he's already taken note of them.
Ahead of Monday night's latest Ducks-Kings matchup, Doughty said to the Los Angeles Times: "To see them up there, a team in our division, a team that I think all of us in here feel for sure that we're a better team than them, that kind of makes us frustrated and not happy with the way our season's gone so far."
Boudreau took the Lou Holtz approach in addressing what the star Kings defenseman said.
"Well, they are the Stanley Cup champions," he said. "They are the better team. We’re just the little guys trying to do good."
