Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed forward Lee Stempniak
“We like what Lee Stempniak brings to our line-up, and our team missed him a lot with an injury last year,” said Flames General Manager Jay Feaster. “We believe Lee continues to have strong upside offensively, and he has demonstrated that he can be responsible at both ends of the ice. His skating style and willingness to get in on the forecheck will fit-in nicely with Bob Hartley’s up-tempo style, and he provides the coaching staff with more options on the power play.”

What a travesty it is for Flames fans to have Feaster as their GM. Instead of selling off their only two assets and starting a major rebuild, they overpay grossly for mediocre players. How bad is Edm gonna dominate the battle of Alberta for the next decade??

Something tells me Jay Feaster has never looked up the definition of insanity.
