Time: 8:00 PM Eastern Time, 5:00 PM Pacific Time
Description: A close up look at the 2005 - 2006 NHL rule changes featuring Mike Sullivan and Keith Allain
, Well, all I can say is I hope the first OLN broadcast doesn't have the same technical issues this cybercast experienced. The show started about five minutes late, then there were numerous technical issues with the presentation. Felt sorry for a frustrated Mike Sullivan, and the repetitive "Can you hear me now?" question from Mike to his tech team summarized this presentation.
Mike had access to an animated grease board to diagram the rule changes, but that failed to work 90% of the time.
Keith Allain came on to discuss goaltending related rules and the animated grease board failed to work again. At about this time, I received a script error message saying macromedia was using too much system memory and my system would soon become unresponsive unless I turned off the script.
Now receiving audio only and a few questions were answered by Mike and Keith but nothing I wasn't aware of before this cybercast.
Overall, this presentation because of its numerous technical issues, was a waste of time. Both speakers basically cut their presentation short and answered questions from cybercast viewers, which was the highlight of this presentation.
