Lang Suffers Groin Injury

On a night when defenseman Jason Woolley returned to the Detroit Red Wings lineup after recovering from a groin injury, center Robert Lang departed with the same ailment. Lang will have an MRI today to determine the severity of the injury. He left during the second period of the Wings' 5-2 victory Monday over the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center. "They (team trainers) don't think it's very good, but I hope they're overreacting," Wings coach Mike Babcock said.read on
