Lalime Wants To Play Or A Trade

Blues coach Mike Kitchen re-enforced Thursday night that Curtis Sanford will get every chance to prove himself as the Blues' No. 1 goalie. That is not sitting well with Patrick Lalime, who has made one start in seven games since being recalled from Peoria. "I don't know what they have in mind for the rest of the year, but if their plan is to play Sandy more, of course, I would like to be traded," Lalime said.

Give Patrick Lalime credit. He hasn’t been much of a goaltender for the Blues this season, but he has a deft comedic touch. His recent trade demand was good for a laugh.
