The Senators' confidence is oh-so-fragile now and it begins in goal, where Gerber is doing his best impression of Patrick Lalime, circa 2002. Lalime always played just well enough to seduce the Senators into thinking that just maybe, possibly, his goaltending was good enough to carry them to a championship.
