from the Montreal Gazette,
I’m not sure whether this is good news, but Alex Kovalev says he wants to be a Canadien for a long time. Radio-Canada caught up with Kovalev on a visit to Ste. Justine Hospital and he offered a couple of mea culpas.
He admitted making some comments critical of the Canadiens organization and rookie head coach Guy Carbonneau. But he said the criticism came out of frustration after the Habs missed the playoffs. He said he and Carbonneau made mistakes, but that he was looking forward to next season.
continued...but do the Canadiens want him?...
