Kronwall Close to Return- But Where

I am sure the Red Winga are looking forward to Ncklas Kronwall returning to the lineup soon; but the Red Wings are also trying to get him ready for the stretch run of the NHL season, not the Olymipics. Could Kronwall be headed to Grand Rapids instead of Turin? I am not sure if this would apply to Kronwall or not, but players must be sent to the minors by Jan. 31st and cannot return until Feb. 17th. So a player would lose 12 days of playing time in the NHL but would at least be able to play while the NHL is dark for two weeks. Bob McKenzie of TSN thinks Kronwall may be headed to GR too.
...That has the Red Wings and the Swedish Olympic team excited. Kronwall would love to suit up for Sweden in Torino, but the Wings may have other ideas, such as a conditioning stint in Grand Rapids.
update 11:52am, for more on Kronwall, check out Abel to Yzerman and LGW.
