Kris Versteeg Signing In Calgary Is Official

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed forward Kris Versteeg to a one-year contract.
Kris Versteeg spent the 2016-17 campaign with the Flames after signing a one year contract on October 11, 2016. He had 37 points (15G, 22A) over 69 games. The 31-year-old forward has played 619 regular season games in the NHL over 10 seasons and has 350 points (146G, 204A) and 368 penalty minutes, while amassing another 48 points (18G, 30A) and 70 PIMs in 93 post-season games. The Lethbridge, Alberta native has won a pair of Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2009-10 and 2014-15 seasons.
Contract terms: One-year contract with an Average Annual Value of $1,750,000.
