Kozlov Still Looking For Work In The NHL

from Craig Custance of The Sporting News,

Kozlov’s North American agent still hasn’t closed the door on another season in the NHL for the veteran forward.

“He has not ruled out the NHL,” agent Scott Lites told Sporting News on Friday morning. “That’s for sure.”

Kozlov is in Russia visiting his father and has been extended a couple tryout offers by NHL teams, although it’s unlikely he’d accept that option.

But there’s certainly some interest in a player who is just one season removed from a 26-goal, 76-point year with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2008-09.

Funny to see the difference in quotes and approach between his American and Russian agent.

NathanBC, sounds like a lack of communication between agents.

Guess we will have to wait and see how it unfolds.
