Kovalchuk Answers A Few Questions

Kovalchuk in a Q & A that looks like it has been translated... from the Russian Hockey Digest,
As known, you are pretty close to sign a contract with Russian Super League’s club Khimik. Is this agreement going to be as a “security” contract? I. Kovalchuk: Of course, right now, I’m not going to sign a contract for the entire season. I will try to negotiate with Khimik’s management a deal that would allow me to go to Atlanta by December 1st. If I don’t sign a contract with Atlanta by the beginning of winter, than I’d play the season in Russia to the end. So, that’s the case when I’ll be ready to sign the complete contract, not a security contract.
