Kopecky Breaks Collarbone

via the AP,

Detroit forward Tomas Kopecky left the Red Wings’ game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night after he lost his footing and hit the boards in the opening minute of the third period.
The Red Wings center was motionless on the ice for a few minutes before being helped to the dressing room by members of the Detroit training staff.
As he approached the Chicago blue line, Kopecky went down and slid into the left boards before Blackhawks defenseman Jim Vandermeer fell on top of him.

Report just in, broken collarbone for Kopecky.
