Knee Surgery For Jack Campbell

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled goaltender Cal Petersen from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League (AHL), Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced this morning.

Petersen is expected to practice with the Kings this morning. Kings goaltender Jack Campbell suffered a meniscus tear in his knee that requires surgery. He is considered week-to-week after the surgery with recovery time expected to be 4-to-6 weeks. He was injured during the Kings-Calgary Flames game on Saturday night

In addition, the Kings on Sunday assigned forward Matt Luff to the Reign.
