Kukla's Korner Hockey

This still seems to be an unresolved issue with one of the fiber providers to the data center we house our servers in on the west coast of the US. Telia is the fiber provider and seem to on and off having fiber issues in the south and southwestern United States over the past few weeks. We are not sure if these are heat related issues with record temps in many parts of the country causing fiber and power outage issues. We are in contact with the data center’s engineers to try and find out when this issue will be corrected, routed around, etc. From our own monitoring stations we are only having issues connection to sites from our Minneapolis monitoring systems. Monitoring we do from Singapore, London, UK and Houston, TX are actually showing clean routes and speeds to the data center. But using other outside monitoring/testing systems that route across different global networks we have seen spotty issues from other locations in the US mostly. We will post follow up details as soon as they come in. We do apologies for the issues, and we are working on migration of clients as quickly as possible to our Minneapolis, MN data center so these issues at the west coast data center will impact fewer of our hosting clients each day.As you can see, the issue is slowly being resolved.
