My gut feeling is that a reformed-enough Avery is precisely what the roster requires and at no cost to the current lineup – at least not yet.
Smart enough to have learned his lesson; young enough to still ooze with energy, grateful plenty for a second chance, Gabbo, I predict, be a galvanizing force in the dressing room as well as on the ice.
