Jeremy Roenick has signed a one-year deal to join the Phoenix Coyotes, a team which he played for from 1996-2001.added 6:25pm, from the CP via Canada.com,
Jeremy Roenick is returning for second a stint in Phoenix, choosing the Coyotes over the Calgary Flames. The 36-year-old centre signed a $1.2-million US, one-year deal, plus incentives, with his former team Tuesday. "In the end I made the decision really because of my family," Roenick told The Canadian Press on Tuesday, adding that he's building a home in the Phoenix area. "And the fact I think Phoenix is going to be much improved with some of their recent moves." He said turning down an offer from the Flames was difficult.more
