Josh Manson Signs A Four-Year Extension

The Ducks have signed defenseman Josh Manson to a four-year contract extension through the 2021-22 NHL season. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Manson, 25 (10/7/91), has scored 10-25=35 points with a +26 rating in 181 career NHL games with the Ducks. Since making his NHL debut on Oct. 31, 2014, Manson leads Anaheim defensemen in hits (426) and hits per game (2.4), while ranking second in plus/minus. The 6-3, 213-pound blueliner set career highs last season in scoring (5-12=17), assists, plus/minus (+14) and games (82), and matched a personal best in goals. One of four Anaheim skaters and the lone defenseman to appear in all 82 regular-season games, Manson ranked second on the Ducks in hits (227) and second among defensemen in takeaways (23).
