Joe Sacco Gone In Colorado

DENVER – The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that head coach Joe Sacco has been relieved of his duties.

“The organization believes a change of leadership behind the bench is needed going forward,” said Avalanche General Manager/Executive Vice President Greg Sherman.  “Joe has worked for this franchise for eight seasons and he is a dedicated and hard working coach.  We appreciate all he has done and wish him the best in the future.”

At this time, the Avalanche organization will have no further comment.

I watched him in the AHL. I was amazed he got promoted. He never had a winning season as a coach in either league.

And now all the Dives fans will be screaming for their imagined savior, Patty Roy, to come in as the new coach and the world will be a better place.

Yes, bring him on.  Let’s get it over with.  Doesn’t matter, the Dives will still suck.

Changing coaches will not work.
The GM Sherman needs to go.
Next year, more of the same…
