Jim Nill

Jim Nill has been rumored to be a leading candidate for many of the GM positions that are or will be open. This from EJ Hradek's Insider article at ESPN-
Several sources around the league say that Wings assistant GM Jim Nill has signed a multi-year deal to stay in his current role in Hockeytown. Those sources say the deal is quite substantial (about $550,000) for someone in his position. Nill is highly thought of around the circuit. Many figured that he would be offered one of the GM jobs currently available. Apparently, family considerations weighed heavily into Nill's decision to stay in Motown.
