from Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun,
“We have to learn how to win games in the third,” said Jets blue-liner Zach Bogosian. “We’ve just got to keep the pressure on. It’s something we’ve talked about, playing with the lead. You have to make sure you just keeping forward and we did a real good job of that.”
The Jets continue to work on raising their expectations and not letting satisfaction creep into their psyche.
“That’s the challenge. You have to feed off what we’ve done the last couple of games, the success we’ve had and the good feelings that come from that,” said Jets captain Andrew Ladd, who added an empty-netter with 38.7 seconds to go. “When things are happening and things are going well, you get the sense in your game, you know what to do and you realize why you’re doing those things. It’s easier to make those decisions.”
The head coach put it this way.
“There’s a price to pay to win games and right now, we’re paying it,” said Claude Noel.
