I would love to go 15 or 20 years into the past and tell Brendan that in two decades he’d be filming video in a suit and tie on behalf of the NHL handing out suspensions, and that the suspensions would be nicknamed for him by hockey fans on the internet where the videos would be posted, and that a new thing with a dumb name (Twitter) would let people comment on illegal hits and suspensions instantly to millions worldwide..
...and then would love to see the blank stare and utter confusion in his eyes.
