Jakub Voracek’s Suspension Upheld By Gary Bettman

NEW YORK (March 13, 2019) – NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman today upheld the two-game suspension that was assessed to Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek by the Department of Player Safety for interference against New York Islanders defenseman Johnny Boychuk during NHL Game No. 1052 in New York on March 9.

Commissioner Bettman heard Voracek’s appeal of the original decision, assessed March 10, at a hearing in New York on March 12.
