Mikhail Grabovski and Nikolai Kulemin have been reunited.

The New York Islanders have signed the two former Toronto Maple Leafs to four-year contracts.

Grabovski scored 13 goals and 22 assists in 58 games with the Washington Capitals in 2013-14. He was bought out by the Toronto Maple Leafs last off-season.

People bag Grabovski but he’s a good center. Advanced stats paint a nice picture on him. Matter of fact, I believe flat-earther Steve Simmons had a clash on the radio or podcast with Tyler Dellow recently about Grabovski’s value. Dellow, the advanced stat guy says Grabovski is a valuable guy - even if he doesn’t show up on the score sheet as frequently as people want, he does things that lead to his team scoring.

Anyways, I don’t have a lot of experience watching Kulemin and some of his advanced stats are questionable to give him similar term and dollars as Grabovski.
