Is Niittymaki The Man

The really compelling development, though, is the emergence of goaltender Antero Niittymaki. Although he and Finland lost the gold-medal game yesterday, Niittymaki was named most valuable player of the tournament. He won the Calder Cup last year for the Phantoms. Now he has carried a team to an Olympic silver medal, pitching three shutouts along the way. If that doesn't sound like a No. 1, Stanley Cup playoff-ready goaltender, what would?
