Kukla's Korner Hockey

Is Joseph MVP Material

from Darren Pang of Fox Sports,
My choice for the best off-season pickup goes to general manager Mike Barnett of the Phoenix Coyotes, who signed veteran Curtis Joseph to a base salary of $900,000 per season. When Barnett asked my opinion of CuJo, I had sincere hesitations. I have known him, played against him and greatly admired his character in the net and in the locker room and his ability to handle the media, all important qualities when you are building a winner in a non-traditional hockey market. Joseph has been the best goalie in the NHL and is quite possibly the league MVP.
