Is Giroux Still Battling An Injury?

via Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer,
Captain Claude Giroux continued to struggle. He went without a goal for the 20th straight game over the last two seasons, and he was late on his defensive coverage in the final minute of regulation, enabling Jordan Staal to score the tying goal with 52.3 seconds left.
Giroux again claimed he was 100 percent healthy and that his preseason finger surgery was not affecting his play.
But it sure seems like it is.
Giroux won just 41 percent (12 of 29) of his faceoffs Tuesday.
