Investigating Groin Injuries

from Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail,
There was a time when Terry Kane knew pretty much everything there was to know about the current hot-button topic in today's National Hockey League — the groin injury. Kane, along with former Calgary Flames' team doctor Winne Meuwisse, ran the NHL's injury surveillance program for years. They (but mostly Kane) would analyze data submitted to them by all 30 teams and then send their findings to the league's Injury Analysis Panel, chaired by former NHL goaltender Dave Dryden.
