While a lot of NHL experts already are conceding the Norris Trophy to Los Angeles Kings defenceman Drew Doughty, it might be a good idea to add Buffalo’s Tyler Myers to the mix. Myers, the Calder Trophy winner last season, appears to be going into his second season a better player. On Thursday against the Canadiens, he logged nearly 25 minutes of ice time, assisted on two of the Sabres’ five goals and was a plus-2. Uh-huh, it’s only a preseason game, but it’s obvious he’s the real deal.
