By Mike Shackil,

Coinciding with the current Stanley Cup Finals that is happening between the Chicago Blackhawks and Tampa Bay Lightning, IfOnly is auctioning an experience to attend a morning skate or off-day practice at the Stanley Cup with ESPN’s Steve Levy and Barry Melrose.

This will give the auction winners unprecedented access to the largest event in hockey with two of the best and most well-known media personalities in all of hockey. Along with four passes for the skate and behind-the-scenes passes to watch tapings for ESPN’s Stanley Cup coverage, the four winners will enjoy lunch with the two broadcasters. This experience is benefiting The Charlotte and Gwyneth Gray Foundation, which was created to raise money and awareness towards Batten Disease, a genetically-inherited disorder of the nervous system that has affected Gordon and Kristen Gray’s daughters.

Fans seeking the full experience may also consider game tickets as a capper to their incredible experience at the rink with two of the top hockey media members in the country.Game 6 in Chicago at the United Center, has an average ticket price of $2,123.05 with a get-in price of $723. Game 7 in Tampa Bay is along the same lines, with the average ticket price currently being listed at $1,431.59, with the cheapest ticket being $547, according to TiqIQ.com.

Hockey fans in either city would be hard-pressed to find a better Stanley Cup experience while at the same time contributing to a very worthy cause. The average lifespan for a child suffering from the disease is 6-12 years old, so every moment matters. Due to its rarity, solutions for this presently incurable and fatal disease have received minimal research, focus and funding, according to the auction page. Blackhawks fans in particular also have the opportunity to bid on two other auctions that benefit the foundation. A Blackhawks team-signed hockey stick is available and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Additionally, a Jonathan Toews hand-signed Blackhawks jersey is also available for fans to bid on.

IfOnly’s mission is to create true luxury experiences while making a positive impact with charities and foundations to spark the effort in helping others in need. This is yet another example of IfOnly offering up a very engaging experience that is second-to-none in terms of uniqueness, along with assisting a charity in the process.
