Hurricanes Make A Slight Adjustment To Their Uniforms

from the Carolina Hurricanes,

Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today introduced the team’s new home and road uniforms for the 2013-14 season. While the team’s primary logo and colors remain the same, it marks the first time in the Hurricanes’ 15-year North Carolina history that they have made a head-to-toe change, including alterations to their home and road sweaters, pants and socks.

I like that many teams’ looks are trending back toward traditional, but this just seems to be missing something that makes it uniquely theirs (maybe the storm flags, which only appear on the inside of the collar).

The new boring jerseys are a better match for an exceptionally boring team.

I like them. It’s a nice, clean look, but I wish they had the flags as shoulder patches or something.

Looks too much like the Phoenix jersey set.  They took all the individuality out of their uniforms and ended up with a generic look.  And why drop the black from the gloves - now they have Red Wings gloves.

Blah, look like a bad version of Team Canada.
