Kukla's Korner Hockey

Yesterday afternoon, Scotty Bowman was on Detroit radio and pointed out one thing he has witnessed during the playoffs. He said players are going down way too much and most of the refs are buying it. Scotty mentioned the NHL needs to do something about this because there are way too many penalties as it is.
Watching a few games last night, diving or embellishment was prevalent in many of the games. Were any diving calls made? I am not sure but Bowman is bang on- this needs to be cleared up right now before it really gets out of hand.
Time for the refs to start handing out diving calls and don't call the opposing team penalty, that would be a step in the right direction.
