Hockey Mom Complaining About Bodychecking

from CBC,
A River Heights woman who has been battling her local community club over the issue of bodychecking in hockey has been banned from the club's premises. Adeline Nychuk-Jensen believes the children on her 11-year-old son's hockey team at the River Heights Community Centre have not received enough instruction about bodychecking. She's been arguing with the centre's board about the issue. She says the situation wasn't safe: "Do we have to have a sacrificial lamb before someone pays attention to this?"
