I shutter at the thought that Joel Quenville is the best coach in the NHL.

Yeah, this list is pretty suspect.  They have a handful of guys ranked below Patrick Roy, who’s never coached in the NHL before.  Also, I thought Bob Hartley won a cup in Colorado. Tough to take them seriously when they have as big a factual inaccuracy as that in the article.

Aw, don’t “shutter” too much, chief. It’s just the internet.

Yeah I have a really hard time accepting that too.  His two Cups with Chicago (one of which featured a team, but for a few loopholes, was basically outside the rules of the CBA at the time), don’t quite make up for the many times a very skilled Blues team was bounced under his watch.

When I saw Boudreau at #10 I had to make sure I didn’t wake up on April 1st.

It seems to me that NHL coaches is just one of many subjects that the people over at espn have absolutely no fu*king clue about.

ESPN ranking anything related to ice hockey is like asking a blind man to describe a rainbow.

ESPN’s fact checking department is too busy working on today’s Tim Tebow story to research anything as insignificant as the number of Stanley Cup wins Bob Hartley has,

I feel two notches dumber on the stupid scale today, one for having wasted time looking at the rankings and one for being dumb enough to click to an ESPN link on hockey in the first place.

Paul put it right there in the headline that this was an ESPN ranking and I still blew it.
