An odyssey that started over "a number of beers in the pub," will conclude with an experience of a lifetime tonight for Maple Leaf fan Nick Harris. Harris, a 35-year-old businessman from Glasgow, flew into Toronto from Scotland last night for the sole purpose of attending tonight's game at the Air Canada Centre against the Philadelphia Flyers. His whirlwind tour will end when he returns home tomorrow. Harris managed to get Leaf tickets through a university friend who is in from Britain visiting his wife's family in Toronto. When he learned about the tickets, Harris immediately went out and spent $1,200 on an airline ticket for a 36-hour trip.
