Seems to be a growing trend, players not accepting trades for refusing to show up.

Ha, gotta say it would look pretty impressive many years down the line to look at the 2013 Islanders roster and see Nabokov, Thomas, and Kiprusoff on the same team.

This seems pretty stupid.  If you wanted family stability, you should’ve taken a pay cut in exchange for a no trade clause way back when.  since he didn’t do that, all he’s doing now is burning bridges.  Its the nature of his work environment that he may be traded.

@mmuskrat - I had heard Kiprusoff had a NTC in the early part of his contract but it expired this season. Which does seems kind of unusual.
