via David Pollak of the Mercury News,
The Sharks have activated forward Marty Havlat for Thursday’s game against the Nashville Predators.
Havlat has been on injured reserve since undergoing surgery to repair a partly torn hamstring tendon on Dec. 21 and the Sharks have been counting on his return for their stretch run and the post-season that may follow.
“He’s excited,” McLellan said of Havlat. “He’s been anxious to get back and I know our team is excited about having him back. They all believe he can make an impact.”
Havlat will start the game on a line with Patrick Marleau and Ryane Clowe. He is also expected to see time on the power play’s second unit.

They’re having a tough time for sure but they’re not dreadful. Enjoy your Jets.

I’m surprised he didn’t want to sit out a few days longer. Like until after the Detroit game, and Kronwall has already boarded the plane back to Detroit.

I see expectations are finally starting to come down in the bay. That’s a good thing. This team was booed on home ice during the first game of the playoffs, 2 years in a row.
