Have The Islanders Been Disrespected?

from Kevin Schultz of Islanders Point Blank:

Kyle Okposo got left off of the USA Olympic Ice Hockey team. Have you heard? But before we let this horse lie, we’ll let Islanders play-by-play man Howie Rose get a word in. At the top of the broadcast of  tonight’s game at the Coliseum against the Blackhawks, Rose self-admittedly got on a soapbox and ranted about Okposo’s snub.

“When you’ve been where the Islanders have been for the last two decades, it stands to reason  that you are going to find yourselves disrespected. More so than most other teams in the National Hockey league,” Rose said just before puck drop.

continued plus Schultz posted a video of the remarks from Rose.
