This is the same guy who got a major for kneeing against the caps on last Wednesday.

For every dirty hit, there is an announcer or two willing to rationalize it.

It’s obvious the Shanabans aren’t getting through to anyone.

Devastating, but clean hit.

Looking more closely it was a bad hit. He left his feet and it wasn’t the result of contact or follow through.

As well as the not too bright fans. This is the type of play that they allege they are trying to eliminate from the game. More often than not, a play that keeps someone from returning to the game is most likely a ” bad” play or a cheap shot.

Lundin’s head is down, but, in my view, that makes this bum being 5 feet in the air less excusable, not more.
Nice dive by Rinaldo on the Alfredsson “crosscheck,” by the way.

I saw the Rinaldo, ‘better go down know” reaction. If the refs don’t call it then the players won’t stop.

When will someone tell the flyers it’s not 1974 anymore? Even with Clarke no longer th GM, they seem to think they can bully their way to a championship.

Not saying I like the hit, but coaches everywhere can use Lundin’s approach for how not to cross the blue line tutorials.
