Happy Drew Miller Gustav Nyquist!

Or Chris Kreider Taylor Pyatt!

Hope you have broken the code by now.

Let's star the New Year right by wishing all of you a prosperous and successful 2014.

Right now it is 15 degrees in the metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area with the high reaching somewhere around 20.  Snowfall predicted for today is between 2-5 inches.

With that, we have an outdoor game to play today and it should be an ideal setting for the NBC/CBC broadcast.

Get your hot chocolate ready and sit back and enjoy what our great game has to offer.

Paul, isn’t there a fear 2-5 inches of snow could cause havoc at the rink?

I know some snowfall is wanted, to add to the ambiance and all; but anywhere around 3 or more inches seems like it could cause some trouble

RW, sure there is but they can deal with it.  Snow is supposed to slow down closer to game time.

Well, duh. Good one, Paul.

Snow is supposed to slow down closer to game time.

Using the “Next 6 hours” feature on WeatherChannel.com, they’re predicting that the Ann Arbor area will be under snow clouds until late this afternoon.

Should be interesting.
