Handling The Puck

Marty Brodeur seems to adjusted to the trapezoid area. from Chuck Gromley of NHL.com,
"There's no red line," Brodeur said with a smile, "so it gives me the opportunity to move the puck further up. It's kind of fun and exciting for the fans to see long passes from goaltenders." "As far as playing the puck and making long passes, I'm able to maneuver myself between the lines and be OK," Brodeur said. "I think where (the No Roam Zone) is going to affect me the most is with my defensemen. I can't really help them out as much as I used to by poking the puck away from a guy if it's in the corner. Now I have to stay back, so my defensemen definitely have to work harder."
