Greg Johnson’s Health

Center Greg Johnson, who failed his physical at training camp, still is not ready to play for the Wings. Johnson, who had an abnormal EKG reading during his physical, went to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for tests on Wednesday. The Wings have received the results but have not been given permission from Johnson's agent, Tom Laidlaw, to discuss them. Contacted Friday morning, Laidlaw said, "Everything is up in the air. I don't mean to sound evasive but we just don't know at this point (whether Johnson will return at the start of the regular season).
