from the CP at TSN,
Disgraced former junior hockey coach Graham James has been sentenced to two years in prison for sexually abusing two of his players.
The sentence was handed down in a Winnipeg courtroom Tuesday by Judge Catherine Carlson.
The judge made James stand up in the prisoner’s box to hear his fate.
He showed no emotion.
“Mr. James’s victims are multiple,” Carlson said. “His behaviour was predatory and orchestrated to make victims dependent on him.”
added 12:52pm, watch a CBC video report on the sentencing below…

This is Canada. Wait until he gets credit for time served and good behaviour, then see how sick you feel.
On the other hand I just watched a show on an Indonesian prison. A child molester was brought in and the guards along with the inmates put makeup on him, dressed him in ladies clothes, and “gave him a lot of time to think about what he’d done.”

I don’t care how much ‘humiliation’ he’s suffered as a result of him being caught. He deserves it and more!
The fact that he’s suffered as a result of being caught should no way mean a reduction of his sentence.
The sentence is a JOKE! And and further insult to injury to his victims.

Sexual assault in Canada is the equivalent to a rape charge in the US and a quick internet search shows the average sentence in Canada is around 4 years. So James got that is less than half of the average sentence per victim for being a predator.

Ridiculously light, but not much of a surprise. What a POS.

And in a few years he can get PARDONED. For SEXUALLY ABUSING YOUNG BOYS...

This type of person has no value what so ever. He should be put down like the vile animal he is. I have absolutely no tolerance for any crime of this nature.

I completely agree… and often wonder at what point does the system become so far liberal that people begin taking justice into their own hands?
2 years? Really?

You get more time in the USA for holding a dimebag of weed.

Makes me sick, this is his third conviction and the dirtbag judge justifies her decision, by saying no one will be happy with her. So she gives him 2 years instead of 6 the prosecutor asked for. By the way they secretly let this clown out on good behavior for the last conviction. It makes you wonder what these officials are hiding or who the are protecting. This sentence is a human rights violation for the victims.
