Goofiest Rule In The World

from the CP via the Edmonton Sun,
Don Cherry used a big chunk of his first Stanley Cup Coach's Corner segment to criticize the NHL for its new delay of game penalty. And he doesn't expect league commissioner Gary Bettman to be happy about it. The outspoken hockey commentator said penalizing a team for clearing the puck over the glass from its own zone is "absolutely ridiculous." "You know we're in the final and I shouldn't be doing this...," Cherry said yesterday during the first intermission of Game 1 between the Edmonton Oilers and the Carolina Hurricanes. "I know the commish doesn't like me talking like this. "This has absolutely got to be the goofiest rule in the world."
